Furnishing your cage
Make sure to fill your cage with fake vines, sticks, fake plants and live plants.
**Note never place sticks from outside inside your chameleons cage without baking them in your oven at 350 for 30 min they can carry mites that can harm your chameleon**
DO NOT use any substrate other then paper towels or new puppy pads to line the bottem of your screen cage.
Safe live plants to use:
The most commonly used plants for chameleon cages is the ficus tree, umbrella tree, and pothos. All three are safe to use. They can be found at your local hardware/garden/nursery store.
Make sure to wash plants with warm water and mild detergent to wash away any fertilizers or contaminates on the plant leaves before to put them into your chameleons cage.
Precision is important
